Christopher Emmanuel "Chris" Paul (born May 6, 1985) is great American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Standing at 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m) and weighing 175 lb (79 kg), he has began exclusively on the position of point guard. Paul has received the NBA Rookie of the Year Trophy, an Olympic gold medal, and brought a NBA for assists three times and steals 6 times. He's got recently been selected to 7 NBA All-Star teams, six All-NBA teams, and six All-Defensive clubs.
Paul was a McDonald's All-American in high school. He joined Wake Forest University for 2 years of college basketball when he assisted the Demon Deacons obtain their initial truly number one standing. He had been selected 4th all round in the 2005 NBA draft with the New Orleans Hornets and traded into the Clippers in 2011.
At December 8, 2011, the Hornets agreed to a three-team trade transferring Paul for the L . A . Lakers. The NBA, which owned the team during the time, nullified the offer, along with commissioner David Stern claiming New Orleans would be better off holding Paul.The clubs taking part on the deal in tried out to negotiate the league to reverse its ruling and reconstruct the deal does not help.On December 12, the Hornets approved a trade sending Paul to the Los Angeles Clippers, even so the deal broke down after the NBA added additional needs for the authentic terms. 2 days further, the teams at long last made the deal, sending Paul and two future second stage draft picks to the Clippers for Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and also Minnesota Timberwolves' unprotected first round pick in the 2012 draft. After the deal's completion, Paul announced which he could opt to the final season for his contract and stay in Los Angeles for at least two more seasons.
